This course is intended to give a detailed overview of investing in the Stock market.

You will learn how the market works, how to evaluate stocks through technical and fundamental analysis, and how to create a personal asset mix profile. You will also learn about the nature and type of the entire investment product range, and the associated risks with each.

Products such as Mutual Funds, ETF'S, Stocks and Bonds will be covered in detail. The course will wrap up with a tutorial on creating a personal investment strategy and plan. The course will cover both theory and hands on practical activities.

Each student will have the opportunity to create a model portfolio and carry out simulated selected trades. The course is intended to give students the tools and knowledge to take control of their own investment portfolios if desired, or to enable them to have an effective relationship with their Financial Advisor.
